Do BA at Heathrow issue 8'; x 8'; clear plastic bags to carry liquids on flights, no answer from BAA / thanks?

Yes, they do at the moment, and they will continue to do so while regulations continue to demand it. You get the bags after check-in and before you enter the departure lounge. There's a special table set up at the entrance to the departure lounge.Do BA at Heathrow issue 8'; x 8'; clear plastic bags to carry liquids on flights, no answer from BAA / thanks?
It's not so much BA that hands them out. It is BAA. I flew with a different airline over new year. There was a couple of BAA staff handing out clear plastic bags as you approached the check in desk. There were also a few tables after you passed check in approaching security with staff handing out clear plastic bags.

You can get bags, but not from BA who are just an airline. They are from BAA who own Heathrow and provide all the security checks/services etc.

There is someone (after check in at the airline counter) just in front of where you go though to start the passport/security checks etc. Just look for them handing out the bags.

Why do you need to carry liquids in your hand luggage? Put them in your hold luggage and the problem have gone away!

Have a safe trip!
Just been through Heathrow and yes, there are airport staff handing out resealable bags, just at the entrance to the departure gate.
i have flown from Heathrow to Chicago, and i dont remember them giving any plastic bags for liquids. they may do so, but i dont remember it.
Hi there I work for BA (BRITISH AIRWAYS) not BAA (BRITISH AIRPORT AUTHORITY) and no the airline do not issue the clear plastic bags you will get them from the airport authority people as u are in the Q to get to the departure lounge. There are normally people dressesd in yellow jumpers screaming out the list of prohibited articles and hand out the plastic bags to you there.
No. Buy your own.
Just before you go through the boarding pass check prior to security - you usually find a few BAA ( not BA ) employees. asking you if you have any liquids etc and handing out small plastic bags..

or at least they were the 3 times this weeks i've been through
