Security, 100ml rule. Clear plasitc bag?

I have my cosmetics in my hand luggage, i've checked that they are all under 100ml.


Shall I put them in a sandwich bag now? or do they give the bags out at security?


I'm going to Gatwick if thats any help.


ALSO, does mascara count as a liquid? I think I read somewhere that it is.

They need to be in the plastic bag before you get to the airport.


Mascara won't count as a liquid, but I'd stick it in the plastic bag, anyway. When you get to the airport, they have plastic bins to put your shoes and bags in. Just put your little plastic bag in the bin outside of your carry on. They will ask you to do anything else they need.Security, 100ml rule. Clear plasitc bag?
Hi hun, when you get there you can get a roll of clear bags for something like a pound or you can purchase them yourself before going and then save some time by having everything ready before you leave. Every item must be bagged so yes put your mascara in a bag too, Hope you have a nice time away.
