I know after all the heightened security it was a rule but is it still?
And are there limits as to the size of the clear plastic bag and its contents... I'm thinking like shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hair products etc...?Do I still have to take liquids in clear plastic bags on planes?
Yes, you do - the limit is 100ml I believe so can't take bulky liquid items as hand luggage - you can put them in your suitcase thoughDo I still have to take liquids in clear plastic bags on planes?
Yes you still need to have liquids and gels in the clear plastic bags, the items need to be 3 oz or less and the bag needs to be no larger then 1 qt. bag.

Yup, it still is the rule.
You can up to 3 oz and you have to put them in 1 quart size clear ziploc bag.

Yes you do. As others have said no container can exceed 100ml. All must fit in the little bag provided. I put my toiletries in reseal plastic bags. Then a sealed travel bag and put them in the hold.
But no liquids are allowed on flights to and from USA in the cabin. All must be placed in the hold.
Just put all that stuff in your check in bags! You do still have to use the clear plastic bags for carry on luggage if you're flying from the UK
I flew back to the UK on Sunday - everything liquid wise has to be in 100ml or less - so pack everything else in your luggage. They will give you a plastic bag at security so dont worry about finding one, although you are only allowed one bag and it is only a bit larger than a sandwhich bag!
Hello. You are currently limited to a maximum size if 100ml bottles for any liquids. This also includes deodorant, so be aware.
The signs do say they need to be in clear plastic bags, but when I flew from Stanstead 3 weeks ago they were not too bothered by that. All my stuff was in the hand luggage.
If 100ml s not enough you can pack them in your luggage which you check in with no max limit, or you can buy it from the shops after you pass customs in the airport.
Yes. I've answered this question before:
';You must you a QUART size zip-top bag.
I bought ';Hefty OneZip Travel Bags'; from the one dollar section of Walmart. It contained 7 bags. %26amp; On the container itself it says ';Meets Airport Security Guidelines';
Get everything together ahead of time into that bag. Also double check that your items in the bag are actually 3 oz or less.
Hope that helps!';

Good luck
Yes and only 100ml.
Yes you do as I went to Paris with my family and I had some spray in my bag and the thing went off and he had to put it in a plastic bag.
Yes, but only if you carry them in 100ml (10cl) bottles or containers. You can buy liquids in duty free, but not if you are connecting (not always the case).
