At the airport (USA), Do you have to put prescription pills in the clear 1 quart bag?

or does that only go for liquids and gels?

Thanks. At the airport (USA), Do you have to put prescription pills in the clear 1 quart bag?
PRESCRIPTION medicine, even if gels and liquids, are allowed. You don't have to shove them in the same clear bag, but have them handy to show the staff - or use a 2nd plastic bag with ONLY the medicine and your doctor's letter in it.At the airport (USA), Do you have to put prescription pills in the clear 1 quart bag?
No you don't have to put any medicines in the 1 quart bag. Only liquid and gels. That said, I find it easier to take all my meds and put them in a separate zip bag and put it through with the 1 quart bag.
No, it's only for liquids and gels.

Be sure the pills are in their original bottle with your name on it.
