No, it only applies to carry-on baggage.Does the 100ml ,clear plastic bag rule apply to suitcases stored in the hold?
if the liquid is in a checked bag it does apply and basically you can take any volume of liquidDoes the 100ml ,clear plastic bag rule apply to suitcases stored in the hold?
No. Only carry ons.
No it does not.
No, because you don't have access to the hold baggage once on board. what happend to force this upon us was that a few terrorists had planned to make a bomb on board the plane using some liquids...bloody nuisances!!
Hand luggage / carry-on luggage only.
Cargo luggage has possibly only weight limitations.
Firstly, it is not the bag which has to be 100 ml or less but each and every container in the bag and the total has to be less than 1000 ml. That is measured as capacity so even half empty containers count as full. However, the restriction only applies to hand baggage and different rules apply to checked in baggage.
Items defined as Prohibited Articles and Dangerous Goods by the Civil Aviation Authority are not permitted On Board the Aircraft. These include, but are not limited to:
Explosives, detonators and fuses
Gasses (butane, propane, acetylene)
Flammable liquid (petrol, lighter fluid, alcohol, ethanol)
Flammable solids and reactive substances (magnesium, firelighters, fireworks, flares)
Oxidisers and organic peroxides (bleach, car body repair kits)
Toxic or infectious substances (poison, infected blood, bacteria, viruses)
Radioactive material (medicinal or commercial isotopes)
Corrosives (mercury and vehicle batteries)
NO ONLY TO YOUR HAND LUGGAGE
