Friend of mine did this and said it really works. I don't understand how. He staped a clear zip lock bag filled with water outside above his garage door so he could barbeque on the driveway without flys. Other people said they heard this works.Does it work - placing clear bag of water over the outside door to eliminate flys?
Yes it does work. I'm not exactly sure what ex spells the flies from a clear bag of water but you must try it out! It really does help during the summer when you have a cook out or are just out in the yard.Does it work - placing clear bag of water over the outside door to eliminate flys?
Oddly enough, the answer seems to be yes. I imagine it must be pretty iffy though since you'd have to hang up so many bags that the bags would be more of a nuisance than the flies.

it works
it does work,we hung several around a school concession stand, had no problems.
I've also heard that if you take cotton balls and attach them to your screen door this also keeps flys and other bugs away. Never heard about the water one it looks like the water would draw flies instead.
